Photography is now famous among people regardless the gender, the religion, and also the age. All of us love to take pictures but do we know how the pictures was taken back then before the advanced camera that exist now? Therefore, let me tell you more about camera from the first day it exist until now.
A camera is a hardware device that takes photographs and consists of a lightproof box with photosensitive film or plate in the box. When a picture is taken, the camera’s shutter opens and closes, exposing the photosensitive film with light recording the image onto the film.
The history of the camera can be traced much further back than the introduction of photography. Cameras evolved from the camera obscura, and continued to change through many generations of photographic technology, including daguerreotypes, calotypes, dry plates, film, and to the modern day with digital cameras.

The forerunner to the photographic camera was the camera obscura. Word Camera Obscura comes from Latin word means Dark Room. It was called as a dark room because of the natural optical phenomenon that occurs when an image of a scene at the other side of a screen (or for instance a wall) is projected through a small hole in that screen and forms an inverted image (left to right and upside down) on a surface opposite to the opening.
